Many athletes begin advanced and demanding training programs without the proper foundation to tolerate their training. This is where injury in training occurs, holding athletes back from reaching their full potential and keeping them off the court or field. By joining the Base Program today, you’ll be taking the first steps toward creating strong joints and ligaments, increasing your muscle mass and therefore the amount of strain your body can handle, and resisting injury in the weight room and on your performance platform.

How does it work?
– The base program consists of an 8-week program designed to preprare your body for more advanced and demanding programs. Members will recieve access to the complete program with directonal videos and printable workout sheets that can be downloaded or accessed through changeperform.com to keep you on track.
How much do I have to do?
– The program calls for a 3 day per week committment to keep you progressing as fast as possible. Mondays and Fridays are divided into five core areas of the workout following a warmup. There will be an initial plyometric portion, followed by an agility portion. These segments are brief and will continue to warm the body up while increasing athleticism. From there the strength and muscle building portion of the workout will start with upper and lower body workouts followed by a brief injury prevention segment. There will be a shortened workout on Wednesdays designed to increase speed and sprinting ability while focusing on specific athletic atttributes (rotational strength, mobility, ankle strength, etc.). Each workout is designed to last an hour, progressing quickly and allowing your body optimal recovery time.
What can I expect?
– With the base program, members can expect an increase in overall muscle mass, developements in overall athleticism and explosiveness, and healthier joints and ligaments. While this is only a neccessary foundational program, there is still progress to be made for any athlete beginning the program.

What is all included in the workouts?
– The workouts incorporate aspects of traditional strength training with dynamic movements to build a well-rounded foundation for more advanced programs. The workouts will incorprate unilateral as well as bilateral movements to increase coordination and strength in multiple situations and emphasizes overcoming isometrics (pushing against immovable objects) to build strength in your tendons and ligaments as well as your muscles. Plyometrics and agility work is incorporated to get your body accustomed to explosive movements while properly building the tissues needed for elite athleticism. Rotational strength, ankle and knee strengthening, and low-back strengthening are all incorporated to optimize results and lay a foundation.
Why do I need to build an athletic base?
– Many athletes lack the complete requirements neccessary to complete advanced programs. There are no shortcuts to elite athleticism, and without beginning with a foundation to develop you will be vulnerable to injury and lack the requirements needed to make an athletic transformation in these advanced programs.
